Minnesota Is Mind Boggling

NOTE/REMINDER: I use red/blue maps from Dave Leip's Atlas of US Elections.  Dave uses the original and correct color coding of Red for Democrats and Blue for Republicans.  It wasn't until 1996, that the lame street media reversed that.  Possibly partially because it was easier for their lame brains to remember R for R, the primary purpose was to distance themselves from the European imagery models of the 19th century, which were adopted here in The U.S.  Symbols and images like the Red Star and Red Flag, were and are symbolic of leftist, liberal political/philosophical thought and deed.

1980 National Map of General Election Results for President2016 National Map of General Election Results for President
                                                   1980                                           2016
These maps depict two of the most seminal presidential elections in our lifetime.  The reason there is as much red as there is on the 1980 map is that the Dummycrap candidate was a native son of Georgia and his good friend, Demoncat Sen. Robert 'KKK" Byrd controlled West Virginia politics.  And the peanut farmer's Veep candidate was Minnesota native son Walter Mondale, who was SUCH a loser, that Minnesota was the ONLY state he carried four years later as the Dummycrap presidential candidate.  The Dummycrap denizens of D.C. are always going to vote for their Demoncat plantation masters as they did in 1984, to give Fritz the Cat 13 whole electoral votes, resulting in the biggest presiential election butt beating EVER! Maryland is merely an extension of D.C.  Voters in Rhode Island and the Hawaiian Islands are just off on an imaginary political island in their minds.  Though not as lopsided, the reason there is as much red in the 2016 map is that state politics have been skewed in Nevada by an influx of Californian entertainment industry elitism in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe, just as statewide politics has been similarly skewed by the DC suburban counties in northern Virginia.   Colorado's once proud politically righteous mind has been marred by legal marijuana.  And New Mexico has basically become El Norte'  of old Mexico.  In both instances, Minnesota stands out like a big red starfish awash in an ocean of blue.  Only once in my remembrance has Minnesota veered from that invariability.  That was in 1972, when even New York, Illinois and California did.
Besides those three states, all strangulated by the socialistic strategery of cities voting blocs, our northernmost state of the contiguous forty-eight is the most liberally voting state in the nation.

To look at those four state maps, as well as the national maps above, one would think that they were all awash in an overwhelming ocean of conservative blue.  But in each state, the enclaves of Red red represents overpopulated dumb mass Dummycrap metropolitan areas which overwhelm the populist populations of rural and small town conservatism that occupies the grand mass of geography.  The Empire State is dominated by Buffalo in the west, cross state to Albany, to include big college town Syracuse and down the I-87 corridor to the five big boroughs.  Chicago shellacs all of the rest of the Land of Lincoln.  California, of course is controlled by the coastline crazies from the L.A. illegals and felons to the Haight Ashbury hippies of San Francisco.  Minnesota receives its mandates from the metro's of Duluth, Rochester, and of course mainly from Minneapolis/St. Paul, so infamous for its illiberalism that it gives us the likes of Keith Ellison and soon, Ilhan Omar, another Manchurian candidate.  All of that magnificent mass of Land of 10.000 Lakes is just moot.
Minnesotans have a history of electing some WEIRD wackos to statewide office. like Libertarian (?)  GOVERNOR Jesse 'The Body' Ventura, after leaving rasslin' and before joining Russian State TV.

Then, there are senators such as Hubert The Hump Humphrey, the aforementioned Walter Fritz the Cat Mondale , and OMG, AL FREAKBOY FRANKEN!?!

On the other hand, small sections of Minnesota have sent to the federal and state capitols great legislators like Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and state Senator Karin Housley.
Image result for michele bachmannRelated image
Ms. Bachmann was a prime presidential candidate and very well could have become Speaker of the House, after John Beohnhead's departure, if she hadn't understandably given up on her good fight.
Ms. Housley is a very popular and well respected state lawmaker, who is making a viable run for the seat vacated by disgraced Dummycrap Franken and currently held by appointed Dummycrap Tina Smith.  The Minnesota DFL is so fearful of Sen. Housley that they are playing their age old, worn out race card.  Citing a decade old Facebook post, they accuse Sen. Housley of racist remarks about Muchelle My Belle Obama.  Truth is, she merely observed that Muchelle is a hulking, stoop shouldered slouch with no idea of proper etiquette when dealing with the Queen of England.
Related image And knowing that her husband is a wide open, amoral bi boy, coke whore, I don't discount the expressed notion that Muchelle is really a Michael.
Minnesotans have a wondrous opportunity to show the rest of America that they're not a bunch of northernmost know nothing numb skulls locked in an eternal lethargy of liberal lunacy.   Besides the chance to send State Senator Housley to the Federal Senate, Minnesota has a golden opportunity to send a Congressional delegation who would better represent the state's true nature of American stoutheartedness.
District 1, with a present Partisan Voting Index of R +5, is wide open.  Incumbent ladder climbing professional politician Demoncat Tim Walz  is retiring to run for governor.  Republican nominee Jim Hagedorn has a real shot to win the seat once occupied by his father, representing conservative, southern Minnesota.  He has much of the bombastic appeal that appealed to those voters who cast their ballots for Trump two years ago.  The fact that the media is blasting him as the worst Republican Congressional candidate running this year tells me he has something going for himself.
Image result for jim hagedorn minnesota
Image result for jason lewis minnesota  One term Republican incumbent Jason Lewis should keep his seat in CD 2, with it R+2 CVI and Lewis' popularity as a former Twin Cities and national talk radio host and renowned author.  He's already won against his Dummycrap opponent, Angie Craig once in the 2016 general election.
Image result for erik paulsen minnesota Despite a PVI of D +2, District 3, ten year incumbent Erik Paulsen should hold his seat. He has won his last two elections by wide margins.
Covering the Minneapolis/St. Paul, with high Demoncat PVI's, Districts 4 and 5 are lost causes.  There was some joy in Mudville, when 5th District Representative Marxist Muslim Keith Ellison announced his retirement to run for state attorney general.   Remember, he's the one who persuaded the curator of Monticello to dishonor Thomas Jefferson by allowing Ellison to use President Jefferson's Quran to take his first congressional oath of office.
Image result for muslim keith ellison  I'm thinking that Ellison is counting unhatched chickens, believing that some Dumycrap, or more likely some fellow Demoncat is going to defeat President Trump in 2020, and appoint him to be the worst federal attorney general in history, even worse than gun running murderer Eric Holder.

But the aforementioned joy was short lived, when I discovered that Ellison's replacement on Capitol Hill is a real Muslim.  A Somali Muslim.  You know, the Muslims responsible for contemporary piracy on the high seas.  Much like their ancestral forbears, the Barbary pirates, who first declared war on this country during George Washington's administration.
A masked Somalian pirate stands near a Taiwanese fishing vessel that washed ashore in Hobyo in 2012 after the pirates were paid a ransom and released the crew. Farah Abdi Warsameh / AP Photo  Now, we'll have Ilhan Omar, who took her Minnesota House of Representatives oath of office with a Quran.  At least it wasn't President Jefferson's.
Districts 6 and 7 are leaning heavily Republican with PVI of R +12.  6th District Republican incumbent Tom Emmer has won his two elections by landslide majorities.

Long time 7th District Congressman Collin Peterson will be reelected to represent the very rural and conservative western portion of the state.  Though he is registered as DFL, he is one of the original Blue Dog Democrats and votes more conservatively than  many Repulsicans and Rebooblicans, which I'm sure pisses off Princess Nancy enormously.  He may be the last true Democrat in Congress.  And as long as he retains those principles, I'm okay with him.
Image result for collin peterson mn
With its R +4 PVI and three term incumbent Dummycrap Rick Nolan retiring, District 8 should be easily won by Republican Pete Stauber.
Image result for pete stauber mn He was a renowned member of the 1988 NCAA Champion Lake Superior State hockey team and NHL player.  A retired police lieutenant, he and his brothers operate a sporting goods business, specializing in ice hockey merchandise.
Image result for joe radinovich mn    Stauber's opponent is a consummate political party hack.  Joe Radinovich is a 32 year old college drop out and life long liberal activist, whose activism dates back to his junior high school years.  It shouldn't be much of a struggle for District 8 voters.

With all of that said, Minnesota could give us (US) their greatest gift since building The Mall of the Americas, with a Congressional delegation consisting of five real Republicans and a true blue Blue Dog Democrat and a fresh faced freshman senator of constitutional convictions.  I hold little hope for defeating an entrenched two term Demoncat senator, even when it's a chump like Amy Klobuchar.
Image result for amy klobuchar Then again, there are candidates from the Green Party and the Legalize Marijuana Now Party.  Hope against hope, maybe they bleed off enough votes so that Republican Jim Newberger could eke out a victory. He has stomped the goo out of his DFL opponents in his last three elections for the state House of Representatives.
If cosmic forces could converge to make all of that happen, I could once again hold real hope for the Republic as a whole.  It would be more Minnesota Wild than the state's NHL team.

10/24 UPDATE:  With the ever increasing exposure of the Keith Ellison domestic violence scandal, there is even more hope for hope for Minnesota.
Image result for keith ellison muslimAs a Muslim man, I'm sure that Ellison felt he was legally entitled to beat his woman, without consequence.  But there is backlash, as polls show that he has dropped out of the lead in the state Attorney General race and similar adverse effects are affecting fellow DFL candidates on the ballot.  Let US hope.  Let US hope.  Let US hope.

There Will Be No 'Big Blue Wave'

A great 'blue wave' has been promoted and predicted by Demoncat Congressional Leaders Princess Pelosi and Chuck U Schumer, along with their minority minions on The Hill and George Soros' generated generation of knee jerk jack and (mostly) jenny asses.
Image result for democratic party  These people really did pick the correct animal to represent themselves.  Along with the ass, other historical symbols and images that have been part and parcel of party policy and practice include these:

As depicted in the image above, this tsunami like blue wave will wash away the Republican majorities in both houses, and hope against their hope, completely out of Washington, D.C.  From their as old as time political playbook, they expected to use the same, recycled slanderous and libelous lies to defeat and destroy Brett Kavanaugh as they did to Herman Cain in 2012.

It didn't work this time.  Whether it's a matter of the Dummycraps getting dumber, or The Right just being more willing to do and say what is right, I'm not sure.  It's probably a combination of the two.  In their attempt to demonize a decent and dedicated man, the Demoncats have only explicitly exhibited their own evil excesses.  As they've tried to prove with so many people associated with President Trump,  Kavanaugh's 'crimes' were shown to be unbelievable, unsubstantiated...stuff.  Their big 'October surprise' this year seems to have backfired, shooting themselves in the collective foot.  Instead of their big blue wave, they might be drowned by a 'red tide'.Image result for republican red tide
While it is historically traditional for a sitting president's party to lose seats in Congress in midterm elections, there has been pretty much nothing about the Donald Trump presidency that has been traditional.  I think that we're going to witness another tradition trashed on November 6th.   As sure as I was when I placed my last serious wager on Super Bowl III, I'll bet that contemporary considerations, including the Kavanaugh case costs the Demoncats/Dummycraps seats, especially in the Senate.  It is odds on that Heidi Heitkamp and Claire McCaskill are GONE, thank the good.

See my insights on the subject in my previous article, Seeking A Soul For The Senate.

Over the past century or so, there have been a very few presidents who gained party power in Congress in the midterms.
Related image Woodrow Wilson would not have even been president, if not for the schism on the right, caused by the ego-maniacal originator of progressivism with his Progressive ('Bull Moose') Party, Teddy Roosevelt.  Image result for teddy roosevelt bull moose
In 1914, the Demoncats gained four Senate seats, but lost sixty in the House.  In 1918, he lost those four Senate seats, plus one, as well as twenty-two more Representatives.
Image result for franklin roosevelt TR's cousin, cousin marrying Franklin (ugly cousin marrying) progressed Teddy's progressivism toward surefire socialism.  During his first term, the Demoncats picked up nine seats in each House.  In the four subsequent midterms, with the Stalinistic stench of FDR's policies being immensely influential, they lost a total of 199 House seats and 31 senators.
Image result for dwight eisenhower Even the beloved and wildly popular "Ike" Eisenhower experienced midterm minuses.  He lost 18 and 48 Representatives along with 2 and 13 senators in the two midterm elections during his eight year presidency.  If the Congressional Rebooblicans of that era had not back lashed against the reign of Roosevelt with the 22nd Amendment, Ike would've probably served into the '60's.
Image result for JFK  Since Ike couldn't run again, and his Veep had nothing of the character or charisma of the Kennedy's, we got, until Trump, the only non-traditional president of my lifetime.  In 1962, the Democrats only lost four House seats, while gaining two senators.
Image result for lbj LBJ, a traditionalist, and therefore terrible, took us back to form in 1966. when his party lost 47 House Representatives and had their 1962 Senate gains negated plus one.

In 1970, the Richard Repulsicans only lost a dozen House seats, well below the average, while picking up a senate seat.  That was lost in 1974, as Gerald Ford finished out Nixon's failure.
Related image   The Repulsicans said good-bye to 48 representatives and four senators.
Image result for jimmy carter Despite being abysmal from Day 1, Jimmy Carter's Dummycraps only lost fifteen representatives and three senators in 1978.
Image result for ronald reagan In 1982, the policies of Ronaldus Magnus had not yet taken hold and the country was still in Jimma Carter's malaise.  The R's lost almost the historic average in the House, but held steady in the Senate.  In 1986, they fared much better in the House, losing only five seats, but doubled the average in the Senate by losing eight.
Image result for george hw bush Bush the Elder did much better than average, as the R's lost only eight representatives and one senator.  But he lost his oval office in 1992, ushering in the calamity of
Related image The Clinton's.  In 1994, as a rebuke of Hitlarycare, Whitewater,   (which stole my parents' life savings), and such, Americans revolted, resulting in the Republican Revolution.  Gaining 54 seats in the House, the R's held the majority there for the first time in forty years.  Picking up double the average with eight seats in the Senate, the R's took control of the upper chamber, as well. Image result for newt gingrich By 1998, "The Contract With America" and other initiatives of Newt Gingrich's Congress were bettering the state of the Union.  Being the crooked, consummate party politician, Clinton claimed credit, as he had to get reelected in 1996.  With establishment Repulsicans nominating weak assed, uninspiring Senator Bob Dole for the presidency, many Republican conservatives stayed home in 1996 and 1998.  Dummycrap people being sheeple, and slick Willie being a polished, professional prevaricator, the Demoncats picked up five seats in the House and the Senate held steady, despite Monicagate, impeachment and disbarment.
Image result for george w bush 9/11 Largely due to being terrorized by war in our homeland, Bush the Younger became the first president in 68 years to have his party increase representation in both Houses, gaining eight in the HoR and two in the Senate.  By 2006, following another highly contentious election in 2004, short American memories were already forgetting 9/11, with the help of the lame street liberal media and other politically correct institutions and individuals.  Couple that with a war with no end in sight (still, twelve years later), it was an inevitability that the like of Princess Pelosi and her illiberal ilk to take back control of Capitol Hill, gaining the average of thirty seats in the House and six in the Senate, to usher in the Age of Obama, for the 2008 coronation of
Image result for king barack obama  Marxist Muslim Monarch Baracka Hussein O.  It didn't take long to realize that we had made One Big Ass Mistake, America.  In 2010, with  the advent of the Tea Party Movement, the R's regained majority in the House with an astounding 63 seat pick-up.  The Senate elections were a little weird that year. The Demoncats lost six seats, while The R's picked up five.  The differential of one is someone we all know and mostly abhor.  Here's some more reasons to abhor her.  Originally appointed to the Senate in 2002, by her Repulsican father to take his seat, after he became governor, Repulsican Lisa Murkowski won the 2004 election without a majority of the vote.
Image result for lisa murkowski
In 2010, she lost the primary election to Tea Party candidate Joe Miller.  She entered and somehow won the general election as a write-in candidate with 39.5% of the vote, joining the likes of Strom Thurmond as only the second senator elected by write-in vote.
Image result for strom thurmond   This might be the apex and epitome of nepotism and familial political machinery of which I've ever heard.  The Daley's and Kennedy's could take notes.
After the Repulsicans lost their one good presidential candidate who could have beaten King Barack in 2012, His Marxist Muslim Majesty had enough robe train for the Demoncats to gain eight House seats, which were not enough to take a majority.  They also gained three senate seats, if you count 'Independent' Angus King.  Image result for angus king  In 2014, with no presidential robe train onto which to grab, the Demoncats lost thirteen seats in the House and nine in the Senate, giving the R's majorities in both chambers.
Image result for donald trump  Riding the populist tsunami wave of Donald J. Trump in 2016, the R's held their majorities in both chambers.  This was not a given, considering many Republican freshman senators, who were swept into office as part of The Tea Party Movement in 2010, were up for reelection for the first time.
Now, in 2018, in less than a month, we shall see if President Trump's rising approval ratings and populism can combine with the evermore mounting evidence of the Demoncat Party's politics of demonic destruction can widen the R's margins of majority.
