100 Days Have Passed and My Hope Is Fading Fast

Don't misunderstand.  I still have the utmost faith in President Trump and know beyond any and every shadow of any and every doubt that he was a far superior choice over that fascist feminazi, bisexual blonde bimbo, Hitlary Clit-on.

He has accomplished some obvious good in his first three months plus in The Oval Office.
He has appointed and gotten confirmed a Cabinet of largely Constitutional conservatives with experience and expertise to do some good work for the country.

He has nominated and gotten confirmed Neil Gorsuch, a Constitutional originalist to the Supreme Court of the United States, to replace the similarly minded, late, great Justice Antonin Scalia.

Now, if we could get so lucky to have legislate from the bench, lunatic liberal octogenarians R.B. Ginsberg and little Stevie Breyer die or retire. maybe we could solidify Constitutional credibility to the highest level of our Judiciary.  Of course, it would be nice if Ginsberg had ANY honor, and moved to New Zealand, as she intimated during the campaign that she should, should Trump be elected.

As I have for years, I recommend Federal Appeals Court Judge Janice Rogers Brown.    You have to love and respect an American of her racial and gender demographics who is vehemently opposed to Affirmative Action, as she expressed as a California Supreme Court Justice. It would be interesting to see if Chuckie Schumer and his fellow Senatorial Demoncat Dummycraps would try to block her Supreme Court nomination, as they did for two years when President Bush nominated her to the Court of Appeals.  And those Demoncat Dumycraps included Barack Hussein Obama
The photo that's still causing fuss, this time, on another continent: Sen. Barack Obama on a 2006 trip to Kenya.
There are any number of suitable candidates to replace wacky world view Breyer....former Texas Supreme Court Justice, Dale Wainwright, former US Attorney General and Texas Supreme Court Justice, Alberto Gonzalez.  I still like the thought of Ted Cruz on the Supreme Court, but he is needed SO much where he is in the US Senate, as one of only six A rated conservatives in that body.

And if we could somehow rid ourselves of that flip flopping, unprincipled, Constitution ignoring Chief Justice, John Roberts , we would be well served by the service of former Texas Chief Justice Wallace B. Jefferson, despite the WikiLeak reported rumor that labeled him as a potential pick of Hitlary's, should she have won. (Shudder).

Other accomplishments, that are as important, include the President's rolling back of stifling Obama era regulations, especially in areas like coal and steel production.  He is steadily improving our international status and relationships, especially with important allies, like Israel and even allied adversaries, like China.
As for all of this Russia horse crap that the lame street media constantly continues to propagate, it is just that...barnyard bull squeeze.  And it is in this arena wherein I'm losing some confidence in President Trump, as he seems to be losing the bravado and bobbasity for which so many of us voted.   When even a buffoon of a British bolshevik like Piers Morgan says that the American press is full of crap in dealing with President Trump, it is FULL OF CRAP!!!
It is time for the President to not necessarily go back to his mantra of "fake news', but to blatantly label them as the blatant liars whom they are.  And remind the American people of what Mark Twain said: "If you don't read the newspaper, you're uninformed.  If you do read the newspaper, you're misinformed."  Of course, that quote could contemporize to include "watch telecast or cablecast news".

The President also needs to publicly proclaim in an unmistakable manner, that dumb mass Dummycraps and Demoncats on Capitol Hill, such as idiotic imbeciles like Marxist Maxine Waters, Marxist Muslim Keith Ellison and senile, socialist Senator Sanders need to just shut their sub-moronic Marxist mouths and move to the back of the bus, as their beloved Marxist Muslim Monarch Baracka Hussein O told the Congressional R's to do in 2009.

And more than anything, in matters from the Russian ridiculousness, to the Comey cockmamerie, to the rightfully executed travel ban, the President and his administration need to IMMEDIATELY cease cowtowing and capitulating to the liars and lunkheads on the left with stupid ass  moves like Attorney General Jeff Sessions recusing himself from what is beginning to look like everything.

Mr. President, do you want to win back the trust in you and restore the hope for you that SO many of are still holding onto, if only by a cat's whisker?  Then quit being such a damned politician.  Tell the pissy ass politicians, particularly pussy boy Paul Ryan and Mayberry misfit Mitch McConnell to do the job that we elected their party members to do.

Like REPEAL Obamacare!  I never heard the words"and replace" in any campaign speeches or promises.  And I need to be working more than twenty-nine hours a week, you overpaid, underworked yabeaus.  Representative Ryan, do we need to replace you, as you replaced John Bonehead?  I'm thinking that Mark Meadows, of my home state would be an EXCELLENT Speaker of the House, as he has been being a superb chairman of the Freedom Caucus.
Muddlehead Mitch, I'm thinking that it's about time to put your old ass out to pasture, too.  There are several Senators who are true Republicans, rather than Repulsican, like you.  You wouldn't be missed for a moment by real Americans if you were replaced by fellow Kentuckian Rand Paul, the Libertarian Senator, or Mike Lee, the most conservative Senator, or Tim Scott, the Negroid Senator.   These three represent a whole half of the Senators to whom Conservative Review gives an 'A' rating.  I'd suggest Ted Cruz, but I'm afraid that he is too polarizing.

Anyway, thank you Mr. President, for all that you have managed to get done, despite the overwhelming obstacles that I know are being thrown in front of you on a daily plus basis.  Please continue to do what you know is right for America.  DON'T GIVE UP!  DON'T SURRENDER!

And THIS Is A-STON-ishing!!

And what's even more amazing and astonishing are the apparent complexities and kookiness of copyright laws.  At least, that's what I'm assuming is the reason for one of Celtic Woman's most enjoyable and important songs not being on any of their concert DVD's, even though it's performed in concert and even posted on the internet.
Orinoco Flow was composed and performed by Enya in the late 1980's.  She is the superlative songstress who first introduced me, if not the entire Earth, to the magic and majesty of Celtic music.
Celtic Woman's rendition of it during their South Bend concert is the most breathtakingly beautiful vocal and visual presentation of the song I've ever witnessed. Chloe, Lisa and Susan are all just spellbinding

The performance at Slane Castle by the original charter vocalists, Lisa, Maev and Orla, with full orchestral and choral backing is also magnificent and magical.  Like the later offering at Morris Performing Arts Center, it sadly isn't included on the concert DVD.

It was also part of their Destiny concert, but not part of their Gramy nominated album.  Hmmmm...
Also part of their current Voices of Angels tour, wherein it is more simplistically, but still eloquently produced and presented, I wonder if it will be included in any possible DVD.  Hmmmm, again,

The New Ground/Isle of Hope Isle of Tears is perhaps the most important story telling song ever sung, relaying the story of Annie Moore, the Irish teenager who was the first immigrant processed through Ellis Island on its opening day of January 1, 1892.  Though maybe not precisely historically accurate, it tells well the story of Irish fortitude and courage.
It is included on the concert DVD from their Songs from the Heart concert at Powerscourt in 2009, with original vocalists Chloe and Lisa, along with newcomers Lynn Hillary and 'my beautiful cousin' Alex performing.
If the Celtic Woman powers who be decide to shoot a concert video of the ladies' current Voices of Angels tour, I do hope that they will include Eabha's celestial solo singing of it with the powerfully moving slide show behind her.

It Was A-MAAAAAAZ-ing!!!!!

After years upon years of love, love, loving the various combinations of women comprising Celtic Woman on TV, DVD and the internet, I got to see and hear them live in concert in the beautiful Belk Theatre within the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center in Uptown Charlotte.  I never thought that the present talent could meet that of past groupings.  WRONG!

Though Irish as Irish can be, Susan McFadden has that All-American blonde Barbie doll beauty and belts out a tune as well as and better than any vocalist I've ever heard, as she does with The Voice.

All of the wondrous women of Celtic Woman have been breathtakingly beautiful, but diminutive Mairead Carlin is perhaps the purely prettiest of all and has a soprano range unsurpassed by any I've ear witnessed.  Her rendition of Ave Maria was spellbinding and soul soaring.

Eabha McMahon has a visual exoticism and vocal distinctiveness unlike any Celtic Woman to date. Backed by a wholly heartwarming/wrenching projected slide show, her performance of Isle of Hope... was perhaps and probably the most emotionally evocative song ever sung in my presence.

And Tara...sweet, new Tara McNeill....I may never feel the same symbiosis that I did for Mairead Nesbitt, but she is a multi-talented instrumentalist with a sweet, sweet smile.  And she presents the visual epitome of Celtic femininity.

This tour is aptly named as these women are truly the voices of angels.  Their solos are celestial and their harmonies are heavenly.  And they have instrumental talents as well!  Beginning the second half of the show with Teir Abhaile Riu, Susan played spoons, Eabha blew a flute and Mairead squoze a mini squeezebox, along with Tara bowing her violin to everyone's delight.  I couldn't keep from chair dancing.  I apologize to the entire Celtic Woman ensemble for the audience being largely comprised of a bunch of stiffs.

It's hard to name highlights within a show when the entire show is a highlight of my life.  Briefly meeting and speaking with Piper Anthony Byrne was truly an unexpected thrill.
Opening with a powerful arrangement of Mo Ghile Mear, presenting perhaps the most musically magical arrangement of Dulamon, causing overjoyous weeping with Walk Beside Me and closing with an encore performance of The Parting Glass, Celtic Woman WOWED! As did their band, during their couple of sans singers songs, featuring the most resonant and resounding percussion section, led by the super talented and fabulously funny Ray Fean.

I've not attended many live concerts in my life, and none compare to this.  I laughed.  I cried.  I stomped my feet and clapped my hands.  I jumped up and cheered.  I was transported.  It is a memory that I shall hold and keep near and dear for all my remaining days.  I just hope to God, Jesus and Mother Mary that somewhere along the tour, they shoot a concert in entirety for DVD release.

I Am Simply Heart Broken

Image result for broken heart

I have been inconsolably sorrowful four times in my life.  I mean the kind of sadness that causes uncontrollable crying, mournful and funeral weeping and wailing, and heart wrenching,  body racking sobbing.
The first was when my wife, the one true, great love of my life let me know that I wasn't hers and she left in 1985.  The second was when my best buddy, my dad died in 2007.  The third was when my political hero, the one best hope for saving our Republic, Herman Cain allowed himself to be forced out of the presidential race in 2012.  And now, Celtic Woman is no more.

Don't misunderstand.  Celtic woman, as a touring and recording entity is still alive, if not well.
Image result for david downes  As long as musical maestro and ensemble founder and creator, David Downes remains musical director, the group shall continue to flourish, finding new fans, to join the legions of us who have loved these women for over a decade.  I fear, though that those new fans will never know the true and real Celtic Woman.  And now, it comes to my attention, that The Maestro has moved on.
During the decade or so of its existence, Celtic Woman has presented innumerable combinations and incarnations of groupings from among about a dozen breathtakingly beautiful and paramountly talented women, to perform as a vocal group who is more uplifting and inspiring than any I've witnessed. Their soaring, celestial solos and high, heavenly harmonies send physical chills through me, and wells my eyes with tears of utter joy.  With no dismissiveness or disrespect to any of these lovely, love inducing women, including the one I consider as cousin, with whom I'm most proud to share a family name, the best ensemble of songstresses was that of Chloe, Lisa and Lisa.Image result for celtic woman members

As evidenced by all of Celtic Woman's variations of vocalists, as well as shows such as
Image result for american idolImage result for the voice and Image result for america's got talent,
we know that singers, even singers who are perfectly pitched and preposterously pretty, are a dime, maybe a quarter a dozen and are totally interchangeable and replaceable.  Such is not the case with world class instrumentalists, who come along once in a generation, like Vanessa Mae did some twenty years ago.

Through all of the personnel sequences of Celtic Woman singers, there has always been one constant, one continuing bright shining star that, for me, made Celtic Woman the magical musical experience that it is.  And that is charter member, violinist/fiddler, Mairead (rhymes with parade) Nesbitt.
Image result for mairead nesbittImage result for mairead nesbittImage result for mairead nesbittImage result for mairead nesbittMairead Nesbitt

Mairead Nesbitt has given me more delight and hope over the years than any performer I've seen or heard.  Her beauty and her talent are unsurpassable.  I don't give a care about how God gifted good new member Tara McNeill might turn out to be, she shall never equal Mairead.   No one shall.Related image  Tara is perhaps more artistically versatile, additionally being a harpist and a vocalist.  But to me, that shows a lack of the concentrated commitment that Mairead has given to her violin.  And adding a singer to the group with Ms. Nesbitt's same first name doesn't placate.
Mairead's bow and smile; her verve and her vim; her love and her legs make Celtic Woman the world class act that it is.  And now, like everyone else most important in my life, she has left.  It makes finding a lone remaining, front row seat, with a seat number matching 'my' number meaningless, rather than magical and meant to be.
