When I previously wrote about all of the mentioned candidates to be Romney's running mate, I saved Rep. Ryan for last, as I felt that in many ways he was the best choice among all of those not to be chosen. The thing that I like most about Ryan is that he's not just another lying, cheating thieving, shyster, charlatan lawyer. He is an economist. He is an economist who knows that demand side Keynesian economics do not work for the prosperity or posterity of a free nation.
That is why he is so important as chairman of the House Budget Committee and as a ranking member of the all important Ways and Means Committee. Presuming the obvious, the question is, will Scott Garrett, J.D. be as good in this position of actual high political influence when Mr. Chairman becomes Mr. Vice-President? Is it possible that there might be another New Jersey Repulsican in the vein of Gov. Christie? I can make the safe bet that there is not another person in Wisconsin's first district who has the charm and charisma to off set constitutional conservatism as Rep. Ryan has, so as to win seven elections in a very liberal, Dummycrap district that has supported every Dummycrap Presidential candidate since Dukakis, splitting their tickets to reelect and reelect Paul Ryan to Congress. While it is of utmost importance to replace the baseborn, Bolshevik buffoon in the White House, it is equally, or even more important to keep and grow a conservative Congress, with Michele Bachmann serving as Speaker of the House. The title of Vice-President surely carries immediately perceived high political influence. But what actual high political influence does a Vice-President have? The House Budget Committee chairman has the dominant voice and a vote on how much gets spent by the government and how it gets spent. A ranking member of Ways and Means has a dominant voice and a vote on how things in general are done. A Vice-President has a vote in the Senate if there is a tie. I don't think that there will be many tie votes in the new Senate. The Vice-President has potentially actual high political influence, in that he or she is the person a heartbeat away from the Presidency, being first in line in Presidential succession. Whether Ryan were to assume the Presidency through tragedy or trajectory, I like the thought and idea of President Ryan better than that of President Romney. That is probably the best reason for choosing Ryan.
Beyond that, a Vice-President has only as much actual high political influence as the President grants to him or her. I'm hoping and even thinking that Romney picked Ryan for the real purpose of working together as the expert and experienced leaders whom they both are. Together, they will lead a trained and talented team of real republican reformers, to return the business of America back to business. Though Romney is a lawyer, as well as a businessman, I optimistically opine that he obtained a law degree in addition to his MBA to save himself the cursed costs of legal fees. As a man who became Massachusetts Governor as a Repulsican and as a candidate with virtually no name recognition outside of that Commonwealth, he came close to beating a party opponent of long standing national knowledge. Whether the common knowledge of John McCain't (make up his mind if he's liberal or conservative) comes from notableness or notoriety is debatable. Unlike McCain't (fly a plane), Romney has a sense of honor derived from properly profitable ambition, while McCain't (tell the truth) and so many other professional politicians hold an attitude of ambition in the name of honor, sort of like Benedict Arnold. If Romney had received the Repulsican nomination in '08, as he should have and as I predicted in '05, that he would, he would have beaten the also unknown Baracka and would be seeking reelection now, probably against Hitlary. It's another safe wager that Romney wouldn't have picked Sarah Palin as his running mate. More then than now, his best bet would have been an all businessman ballot with Herman Cain. I like the current businessman/economist ticket, as I'm sure that I'll like the administration SO much more than the occupying administration. I'll like it even better if it includes Cain as Commerce Secretary and some specific others performing specific work based on their individual experience and expertise, so as to succeed in saving our soverign state, working together as a trained and talented team, managed and directed by Romney and Ryan. I do indeed like it.
I don't like the vacuum and void created in the House of Representatives.
I hope that Romney will go ahead and announce this above pictured team at the convention as his Economic Cabinet, so that they can campaign on behalf of the Romney Ryan administration.
This next handful of helpfuls would not only be great advisers to a Romney Ryan administration, they would be great campaigners, communicating the Romney/Ryan message in general and specific terms, determinedly decided due to each individual's realm of responsibility.
And to address in detail what the Romney Ryan administration's positions in matters of foreign affairs and relations, defense and law enforcement are, I hope that he'll also name his National Security Cabinet, comprised of the following:
Of course, the most important appointments a President makes, when opportunities arise, are those to the federal courts, especially the Supreme Court. Romney should go ahead and let it be known that his first two nominations to that august body will be these accomplished jurists.
If Romney would go ahead and name these people as the constitutionally provisoed Presidential advisers and appointees, it would make for a much more interesting and informative campaign in terms of debating the variety of issues that face any administration. But as the lamestream media is making Ryan the oratorical opponent of Obama, Rep. Ryan will have an even easier task in facing off against jerk head Joe, IF Biden has chutzpah enough to face Ryan in an open debate. It should be great fun to witness, if it happens. I still like my group roundtable debates idea.
As in the above picture, Biden will be begging more than praying for mercy.
